Archiving a Fax
Overview
Archiving a Fax preserves information and allows for optimization of the Fax Queue. Archiving maintains a historical record and improves data management. Retrieval is available when necessary.
Example reasons for archiving a fax instead of processing it include when a fax is illegible or when a fax is issued by mistake.

When a fax cannot be processed and you would like it removed from the Unprocessed Fax Queue. Reasons include illegible faxes, duplicates, and faxes issued in error.
Make sure the fax you wish to archive doesn't need to be processed.
Archiving a Fax
When in a Worklist, select the **Faxes** tab.
Locate the fax to be archived, and click the **Archive Fax** icon.
Archive a Fax popup displays. Click **Archive Fax**.
The fax is moved out of the Unprocessed Fax Queue and into the Archived Fax Queue.
Viewing an Archived Fax
Click the **Archived** tab.
Click on the **File Name** of the fax. The fax displays in another tab.
Restoring an Archived Fax
Click the **Archived** tab.
Locate the fax to be restored, and click the **Unarchive Fax** icon.
The Unarchive Fax popup displays. Click **Unarchive Fax**.
The fax is moved out of the Archived Fax Queue and into the Unprocessed Fax Queue.
