Pulling Faxes
Overview
Fax provides you with a convenient workflow to manage incoming faxes and increase quality and operational efficiency. Faxes provide supporting documentation for a request, ensuring all parties have access to key information.
This User Guide walks through the steps of pulling faxes into a worklist.

When you need to pull a fax to a worklist.
You can have up to five faxes in your Unprocessed fax queue. You cannot pull additional faxes until some have been processed.
Pulling Faxes
When you first log into your UM Worklist, the Requests tab displays by default.To access the Fax Queue, click the **Faxes** tab.
The default shows Unprocessed faxes. There are no unprocessed faxes in this queue.
To pull a fax, or up to five faxes, select the number from the drop-down menu, and then click **Pull Faxes**.In this example, we will pull three faxes.

After the faxes are assigned to your Unprocessed list, you can process the fax using the actions on the fax line.
* To attach the fax to an existing request, click the  paper clip icon. * To assign the fax to a user or department, click the  assign icon. * To archive the fax, click the  archive icon. * To create a new request from the fax, click the  new request icon.
The Pull Fax function is available for up to five faxes in the unprocessed tab. You will see a lock icon in the drop-down menu to disable the numbers from selection. Since there are three faxes in the Unprocessed list, you can pull one or two additional faxes.
