Pausing and Resuming a Guided Health Journey
Overview
A Guided Health Journey (Or Digital Program) can be paused by a care manager at any point during the program’s journey. This feature can be used to stop the digital aspect of a program and allow a care manager to continue working on the program without opening a new telephonic-only program.
This user guide focuses on how to pause or resume a Guided Health Journey. For information on how this works in the member app, refer to Member App guides.

When there is a need to stop automated journey activities on a Guided Health Journey
A person is able to resume a Guided Health Journey that the care manager paused. The reverse is also true.
Pausing a Guided Health Journey
The starting point is the program view of an active Guided Health Journey.
Select Pause Digital Journey.
When a journey is paused, the program stays active, but all automated actions within the journey come to a halt. This means no reminders are sent out, new surveys are not added, and all forms of messaging, including SMS and email, are stopped. A journey can be put on hold for an unlimited period, as there is no set expiration for the pause.Even while the journey is paused, you can still engage with the member over the phone. You are also able to conduct assessments, send letters, and conduct all other standard program activities. There is no impact to the person’s ability to use the member app on a paused program. The only evidence they will see is within the Program Settings indicating the journey is paused..png>)
Resuming a Guided Health Journey
The starting point is the program view of a paused Guided Health Journey.
Click in the box to Select **Resume Digital Journey**.
When a journey is resumed, all automated actions resume from the point when the pause occurred. Within the member app, the individual sees that the journey is resumed in Program Settings.
