Managing Telephonic-Only Programs
Overview
This user guide walks you through using the features of a program, with a focus the telephonic-only program. Not all features may be relevant to Guided Health Journey programs.

When you have additional functions to perform on programs after the program creation.
If you need to change the Not Enrolled Reason after closing a program, you must first reopen the program.
Indicating Unable to Reach
In the initial outreach stages of care management, you can indicate that a person was unable to be reached.
From the Program Details page, click **Can't Reach** on the Program Details page.
The date and time of each outreach attempt are displayed on the progress bar. To document further attempts, simply click the button again. The progress bar displays the most recent date and time.
Enrolling a Person in a Program
From the Program Details page, click **Enroll** in the Enrollment & Assessment section.
Complete the necessary Enrollment Details. If **Severity** was not applied when the program was created, it is required to save the enrollment.
Click **Enroll.**
_(Alternate)_ Click Cancel to exit without enrolling the person in the program.
The date and time of the enrollment is recorded and shown on the progress bar. This information, along with your name, is captured and displayed in the Enrollment section in place of the Enroll / Not Enroll buttons. By enrolling the person in the program, it is assumed consent has been given. As a result, the Outreach & Consent section will show both the date and time of enrollment, along with your name.
Opting a Person Out of a Program
From the Program Details page, click **Not Enroll** in the Enrollment & Assessment section.
Select a **Not Enrolled reason.**
Click **Save.**
(_Alternate)_ Click **Cancel** to exit without opting out of the program.
The date and time of the opt out is recorded and shown on the progress bar. The chosen reason for not enrolling the person displays in the Enrollment section in place of the Enroll / Not Enroll buttons.
Closing a Program
From the top of the Program Details page, click the **Close** .png>) button.
(_Optional)_ Change the **Close date** by manually entering a date or selecting a date from the calendar picker.
Select a **Close reason**.
Click **Close Program**.
(_Alternate)_ Click **Cancel** to edit without closing a program. The program remains open.
After the program is closed, the display undergoes several modifications. A _Closed_ badge appears next to the program name, and the program's date range is shown next to the program ID.
Reopening a Program
A closed program can be reopened to make edits to the program. There is no limit to the number of times a program can be closed and reopened.
From the top of the Program Details page, click the **Reopen** .png>) button. This option is only available on a closed program.
Select a **Reopen Reason.**
Click **Reopen.**
(_Alternate)_ Click **Cancel** to exit and leave the program closed.
Correcting Program Enrollment Data
After an enrollment has been established for a program, no changes can be made to the enrollment status. If the person opted out of the program, it is possible to change the reason for not enrolling or switch the program to enrolled.
Changing the Not Enrolled Reason
From the Program Details page of a program , click the **More**  button in the Enrollment & Assessment section.
Select **Change reason.**
Select a different **Not enrolled reason.**
Click **Save.**
(_Alternate)_ Click **Cancel** to exit without changing the not enrolled reason.
The date and time of the opt out is updated on the progress bar and in the program itself. The newly chosen reason for not enrolling the person updates in the enrollment section.
Swapping an Opt-out for an Enrollment
From the Program Details page, click the  icon on the Enrollment & Assessment section.
Select **Enroll.**

Editing a Program
You can edit a program's details to update the source, severity, or screening date, department owner, and user owner. You cannot edit the program name. If you opened a program in error, you should close it and include a note about the error.
Go to the **Program** from either the Home page or the CPV.
Click on the program to view it.
Click on the **Edit** pencil
icon in the top-right corner of the Program Details section.
Update the assignments in the Program Details as needed:* Source * Severity * Screening date * Department owner * User owner
**Editing Department owner or User owner:**If there are tasks associated with the program, you can reassign those tasks while editing the Department Owner or User Owner fields. A check box displays where you can opt to reassign the tasks to the same owner. This box is selected by default.
Click **Save**.
