Provider Dataset Specification

The "Provider Dataset Specification" contains information about providers, including networks. It is sourced directly from customer files and from ACM.

The Provider_Key is unique and used for references from ACM entities. The primary key is a pair of Provider_ID and Provider_Type. The customer file references using a non-unique Provider_ID. It is referenced from multiple entities by Provider_Key or Provider_ID (when Provider_Key is not available).

This dataset is essential for healthcare organizations seeking to maintain up-to-date, accessible, and accurate information on their providers, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and supporting quality care delivery.
